MY LOVE FOR BLUE

This post is long overdue and it has been sitting on my drafts for a month now but I'll post it anyway since I still have a hangover from this event. LOL.

It was late November of last year--2017, that I watched a full 3-hr (almost) concert on Youtube and from that day on I promised myself that if they will ever have a concert here in the Manila I will watch it by hook or by crook. My love for these boys just kept on growing seeing their performance..their talent.. their energy.... it left me in complete awe. I'm so amazed.

And indeed... after a few  days of watching that video, I stumbled upon my FB newsfeed, lo and behold a concert in Manila in just a few weeks! Imagine my panic! I was surprised seeing that it was posted just a few hours then but the event is in 2 weeks. Browsing more related posts, I learned that it was announced around late October. Why?! Why?! Why I only learned about it when it was just 2 weeks away?! So I bought my Gen Admission Ticket the following day and it didn't matter if i went alone. I wanted the VIP ticket, sadly, my budget wont allow it, I didn't have time to save enough. I actually don't have a budget at all. LOL.

So, who are these boys that I couldn't seem to stop talking about? It's the boys of CNBLUE!

December 9 came, the gates at Araneta Coliseum are now lined up with fans from all ages from different parts of the country to witness the last stop of their concert tour entitled "Between Us". Some flew from Boracay some went with their moms---moms who surprised me during the concert because they were also singing, dancing and screaming to the songs and the "pakilig" of the boys...and like I said, going alone didn't bother me that much and I also didn't mind waiting in line for almost 4 hours. HAHA.

Luckily the person behind me went alone too and we became friends that night, her name is Diana (what a coincidence since I'm a fan of Wonder Woman ever since Gal Gadot portrayed it). She was really nice. Too bad I got shy and didn't ask her for a selfie so I didn't have any souvenir from that night (except for the snapshots and video clips). I had a funny feeling though because she seemed familiar. Feels like to I saw her somewhere or maybe someone I know just looks like her. Anyway. Never mind...

Finally the music started and the beautiful lights danced along too signaling that in just a few moments the boys of CNBLUE will be coming out the stage. WOOOHOOO! F.I.N.A.L.L.Y!

I finally get to see...too experience them live! It's truly remarkable. I would agree to one of the comments I read on twitter, "their music alone is good enough". Too good infact. The production..."the lights are just additional bonus". They are certainly one of the few performers whose recorded music is really good but hearing and seeing them play their music live is certainly the BEST!

And oh my! where did Yonghwa get all of his energy? He kept on dancing, playing, singing, and sometimes screaming and never have I seen or heard his voice shake. They all have good singing voices. I just wished I was also in the VIP area so I could see them up close but if I was close I wouldn't be able to see the whole place with the music and the dancing lights. So it's okay. I really enjoyed it. I had so much fun dancing, jumping, and cheering! This concert is the best! The boys are so great! I love them all! Definitely worth it! And I couldn't wait for them to come back! I hope they come back sooooon.

By the way, I don't know why they allowed uploading the whole concert on Youtube and though I've already seen it, I still purchased the original DVD of that concert from Amazon Japan since I wanted to be able watch it on a much bigger/wider screen and simply because I wanted my own copy. I will share the details of my purchase on my next entry since there were funny moments and I also learned a few more things.

Photos below are not mine. They were taken during their Between Us Tour in Manila.
